Welcome

Welcome to Magical Cupcakes

It is January 2010 and I am starting a new year and a new blog for my cupcakes! I hope to publish some of my new creations along with the tried and true! I will also be posting where you can find me at local events or where you can stop in a try a cupcake at local restaurants that carry Magical Cupcakes.

I am looking forward to your comments, suggestions and good feedback!

Happy New Year,

Shelly

This bride chose chose 3 great flavors: Chocolate peanut butter, Coconut cream, and Lemon raspberry. A bride and groom lemon raspberry cake with a flower topper and
customized "bride and groom" stamped forks made by
www.geraniumgem.com really was a special treat for this happy couple.

Birthday party

This is a for an adult birthday get together. Yes, adults are allowed to have birthday parties and eat cupcakes. The flavors for this party were: Red velvet with cream cheese frosting

Chocolate with whipped cream and berries

Coconut cream with coconut buttercream

Lemon with lemon buttercream

and of course good old fashioned Chocolate with chocolate buttercream.

I think this group of adults enjoyed them more than at the kids parties, and clean-up was pretty easy too, there wasn't one left!

Birthday party

A special little girl wanted a Hannah Montana guitar made of cupcakes. This turned out to be a great idea, and super easy clean up. No cake cutting, everyone just grabs a cupcake and they're off.

Weddings

This bride chose some unique combinations: Lemon cream, lemon cake with lemon curd filling and a lemon buttercream topped with at lemon slice candy. Chocolate raspberry, chocolate cake with a raspberry filling, whipped cream frosting with fresh berries. Coconut banana cream, Coconut cake with banana pudding filling topped with coconut buttercream and chocolate shavings. I must say this was a good combination made up by the bride and it tasted wonderful. I am always willing to create whatever you can imagine. A lovely bride and groom cake topped off this display of 15 dozen cupcakes.

Birthday party

My darling niece always has a new challenge for me. This year an Alice in wonderland inspired birthday party. I did an array of sizes for this mini, regular, and large cupcakes. Chocolate dipped and decorated to look like crazy mushrooms, and the cheshire cat of course.
